NMI menu appears after pressing NMI key on divIDE. Drives C and D will initiate after first reseting. After seek-reseting (SPACE+reset) it can be set device fd0 to the drive A and device fd1 to the drive B (even if didnt exist). Settins of all drives can be changed. For example: drive A = virtual disc, drive B = device fd0 (formerly drive A), or drive A = device fd0, drive B = virtual disc, drive C = device fd0, or anyhow else. Return of the heads of the disk drives are done after the return of NMI menu, and then are set same parameters for the virtual discs (94 tracks). Mapping change are done by keys 1 to 4. Key 1 is for mapping logical drive A:, key 2 is for logical drive B:, etc. With these keys you can choose mapping on fd0 (fysical drive A:), fd1 (fysical drive B:) and HDD (virtual image). Choosing the harddisc images is by keys A,B,C,D. Key A: is for image inserted into the logical drive A:, similarly for other keys. Key W is for choosing of the actual partition. To this partition will be searching for images. If the partition has been chosen and you want use the image from another partition, you have to change actual partition and choose the image. Press key A-D and you see the mask for the image searching. If the partition wasnt yet selected, it is necessary choose the partition and then set the mask. You can use the wildchars in the mask. "*" means not only any character, but also no character. "*" is automatically added at the end of your mask. Small and capital letters are the same. Example: "Mask: "(no character) leads to finding all images. "Mask: s" leads to finding all images with "s" on the begin of the name. "mask: *07" leads to finding all images containing "07" in the name (system07, game07 etc). Twenty images can be written to one page. Cursor keys up, down select the image, keys left and right select the page. Key F is for search for the files - small and capital letters independently. String is set as "name.suffix". If you dont set the suffix, files with any suffix will be found. As a suffix is recognized any character behind the last dot. If you want to find the file with the dot in the name, you have to write "name.file.?", so ".?" means any suffix. Two dots is necessary in this example. Twenty files can be written to one page, like image search. If you have selected the image, you have to select the drive for this image. In the process of the file search you can see the name of the image, in what is search actually. All search can be interrupted by pressing BREAK (CS+SPACE) and user inputs by pressing EDIT (CS+1). Return to the program (interrupted by pressing NMI key) is by Q key. Then follows the return of the heads of the fysical mechanics on the disc beginning. But sometimes return can be unsafe. Key C is for the catalogue of the disc on cursor position in the list of the images. You can see the name of the disc, number of the files and free space. By the files are theirs complete info: length, start adress, length BASIC without variables and file attributes. There are flag byte printing in place of BASIC length without variables at files with H extension (that is headless file for TAPE Emulator). On Mike/ZT wishes now key combination CapsShift+C will print executable files only. After selecting the partition is also offered the whole disc. After selecting the whole disc is found the first virtual image of this disc. So this way you can format the disc to FAT32, create the big file and copy this file on the disc. Its only one condition: the file must not be fragmented. Tape Emulator: It is possible to choose emulation of ROM routines for tape deck for each operation separately. It is possible to load from tape and save to disc or any other. Letter L mean LOAD emulation, letter S mean SAVE emulation. Emulation options are periodical change by pressing key T (--/L-/-S/LS). Actual drive can be changed by keys 0,9. Change is made again periodical, with key 0 like this: A-B-C-D and with key 9 in opposite order. keys: 1,2,3,4 - mapping of the logical drives to the fysical, or the driver of HDD discs 0,9 - Change actual drive (replacement command MOVE "b:") t - TAPE emulator disable/enable for LOAD/SAVE. y - Change rewrite mode for tape emul. a,b,c,d - selection of the virtual discs into the driver of HDD discs CS+A,B,C,D - rename of the inserted HDD disc SS+A,B,C,D - change of the write-protection of the inserted HDD disc W - change of the partition or change of the whole disc Q - return E - shows screen from time of pressing NMI (key must be holded) R - reset ZXS F - search for the file CS+F - search for the files - distinguish small and capital letters S - return and SNAPSHOT V - start of the monitor (deVastace) P - return and save screen (Picture) I - attempt at return to basIc L - cdpLayer (player for audio CD) H - Helpscreen
